(Sept 16, 2011, KUWAIT CITY)--An Ethiopian maid who poured boiling water on her Indonesian colleague at work has been arrested by the police, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to a security source, the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received a call from the female sponsor after she heard screams for help from her Indonesian maid.
When police rushed to the home of the caller in Sabah Al-Nasser they found the victim in pain suffering from first degree burns all over her body.
The woman has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Farwaniya Hospital by paramedics. The Ethiopian maid has been arrested and referred for interrogation.
