Electorates urge winners of by-election to ensure good governance, justice

Addis Ababa, February 27, 2011 (Addis Ababa) -
Voters in Gullelle Sub-City urged winners in the by-election to ensure good governance and justice.

Voters while casting votes in various polling stations told ENA that they cast vote for candidates who are believed to serve the public in loyalty.

A voter, Genet Agonafir said the winners in the by-election are responsible to solicit the participation of the public to ensure development and expansion of micro and small enterprise development.
Another voter, Ferdos Amin on her part said winners should be strong enough to register tangible results in ensuring development and good governance in the city.

She said the public should stand on the side of the winners to discharge their responsibility efficiently.
An electorate, in the sub-city Ayele Angota said the winners must strive to change the livelihoods of the residents and work for hard for the growth of the city.

A youth, Solomon Tesfaye on his part said the winners should ensure the participation and benefits of the youth in ongoing development endeavors.
