(Mar 27, (Ethiopia))--Fasil Kenema beat Welwalo Adigrat in the Ethiopian Premier League courtesy of a strange own goal. Welwalo's goalkeeper threw the ball into his own net after making a save to score the only goal of the encounter and hand the opposition all three points.

FIFA bars Ethiopia's Football Federation from holding elections

(Jan 13, (CGTN Africa))-- FIFA has, for the third time, disallowed the Ethiopian Football Federation from undertaking an election to pick a president and executive committee members.

FIFA and CAF agree there are still clear irregularities and violations of election guidelines, which must be corrected before Ethiopia's football governing body can proceed and hold the elections.
