(Oct 19, (CGTN Africa ))--Thousands of families have reunited one month after the Ethiopia-Eritrea border reopened. Over 10,000 people have crossed into Ethiopia since 11 September some have not seen relatives in over two decades.

While the border is open for free movement in both directions, the Ethiopian government agency Administration for Refugee and Returnee Affairs continues to accept and register those that seek asylum as refugees, with more expected in the coming weeks.  For an indepth analysis of this development, Beatrice Marshall was joined in strudio by Geno Teofilo, the Regional Head of Communications for the Norwegian Refugee Council in East Africa.

Ethiopian agency sets up financial scheme for returnee migrants

(Aug 12, (CGTN Africa))-- An organization in Ethiopia has set up a financial scheme to assist returnee migrants to get loans without security, and start up their own businesses. As CGTN's Coletta Wanjohi reports from Addis Ababa, this is aimed at helping the returnees to reintegrate.
