Ethiopians living in Los Angeles deliberate on GTP

Addis Ababa, April 12, 2011 (Addis Ababa, ENA) - Ethiopian Diaspora in Los Angeles held discussions on the five-year Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told ENA on Tuesday. Some 750 participants took part in the discussion, the ministry said.

It said the discussants have expressed their gratitude to the government of Ethiopia for the success registered in the previous years.

The participants said they would work closely with the government of Ethiopia in its effort towards image building and the construction of Grand Millennium Dam.

They commended government’s measures taken to stabilize the domestic market.
