Addis Ababa, February 20, 2011 (Addis Ababa) - The Jimma University said it would work hard for realization of the five year Growth and Transformation Plan.
University Academic and Research Deputy President, Dr. Taye Tolemariam said ad dressing the university's 2nd annual research conference that ended here on over the weekend that the university is carrying out 210 research projects.
The university is contributing its share in the efforts underway to make the society benefit from all-round development achivements.
Post Graduate and society-oriented Senior Director with the university, Dr, Berhanu said the research projects in which the university has been carrying out are in the areas of agriculture, veterinary, health and medical science and economics, among others.
He said the university has already finalized 77 its research works and would be distributed among users after they are published.
The university has opened up 49 post graduate fields of study
