(Jan 26, 2014, (Edmonton))--Police are asking for public help to find a man wanted in connection with gunplay at the crowed Ethiopian-Canadian Community Association on New Year's Day.
Canada-wide warrants have been issued for Luqman Jama Osman, 24, for numerous firearms related offences. He should be considered armed and dangerous and not approached. The 5 a.m. gunfire followed an argument at the building near 105 Avenue and 115 Street.
Officers responded to reports of gunshots both inside and outside of the building. Investigators say that an argument had broken out between several people outside the building before the shots were fired. Read more from Edmonton Sun »
