Ethiopia’s Friendship Association established in Paris

Addis Ababa, April 18, 2011 (Addis Ababa, ENA) - Ethiopians, Ethiopians in origin and French have established Ethiopia's Friendship Association in Paris, France, the ministry of foreign affairs told ENA in a statement on Monday.

According to the spokesperson of the ministry, the association comprises of the French investors operating in Ethiopia, media personnel and NGOs workers.

On the occasion, Ethiopian ambassador to France Teshome Toga said the association would have significant contribution to ongoing development endeavors in the country.

Mayor of Blanc Mesnil, the sister city of Debre Berhan town, has been elected as honorary president of the Association, the ministry said.
