Addis Ababa, March 12, 2011 (Mekele) - German President Lauds Ethiopia’s Efforts to Ensure Peace and Stability in Horn
German President Christina Wolff expressed appreciation to the efforts being made by the government of Ethiopia in ensuring peace and security in the Horn of Africa.
While receiving credential of Ambassador of Ethiopia to Germany, Fiseha Asegidom recently, Wolff lauded the efforts Ethiopia was making to ensure peace and security in the sub-region.
He said the bilateral relations between the two countries have been further strengthened, according to a press statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The president said Germany gives special place to Ethiopia.
He further said the Government of Germany has been extending a significant amount of development assistance to Ethiopia to help it realize the efforts underway to lift herself out from poverty.
