Addis Ababa, March 24, 2011 (Addis Ababa) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said activities have further been strengthened to enable Ethiopians return home from Libya.
Office of Spokesperson of the Ministry told ENA later on Thursday that the Ethiopian government has further continued efforts to ensure safety of the Ethiopians in Libya.
Accordingly, 16 Ethiopians have returned home from Libya Wednesday after midnight.
Some 14 of the Ethiopians arrived here via Tunisia while the remaining two via Cairo, capital of Egypt.
The office said the taskforce formed by the Ministry has continued efforts to enable Ethiopians return home safely.
It said the government is providing the necessary support to the Ethiopians.
