In the February 2011 issue of Marie Claire US, Liya Kebede opens up about her role in the Waris Dirie biopic “Desert Flower“, her hopes for her homeland – Ethiopia, her plans for her ethical fashion line, LemLem and also her budding acting career – she will be appearing alongside Antonio Banderas and Freida Pinto in the forthcoming movie, Black Gold.
She is one of Africa’s top supermodels and has stretched her influence beyond the catwalk into the world of film, humanitarianism, entrepreneurship and clothing design.
