Suicide Bombing, A Sign That Terrorism Is The Verge Of Extinction - Ethiopian PM

(Jun 26, 2014, (Daily Times, NG))--Ethiopian Prime Minister, Mr. Hailemariam Desalegn on Wednesday said the war against terror was being won as the terrorists were now resorting to suicide bombing and therefore facing extinction.

The Prime Minister was speaking during a joint press conference at the Presidential Villa, by Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan‎ and himself at the end of his two-day visit to Nigeria which included bilateral talks.

The Ethiopian Prime Minister who described terrorism as a bankrupt ideology said the East African region has been fighting terrorism for the past 10 years, said only the cooperation with leaders of worst hit countries will end terrorism on the continent.

"you know terrorism is not African agenda only, there has been terror attack in Boston and many parts of the globe so is not something that is new to Nigeria, Ethiopia and other African countries. Is a global phenomenon and you see that there is terror attack in Iraq recently and is expanding.
