(June 01, 2013, (Addis Ababa))--The Ministry of Water and Energy disclosed on Saturday that the
International Panel of Experts which has been investigating the efficacy
of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam presented its final report to
the governments of Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt.
The Ministry said, the
report indicates that the design of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam
is based on international standards and principles and it offers high
benefit for all the three countries and would not cause significant harm
on both the lower riparian countries.
