(May 25, 2013, (Addis Ababa))--Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn here on Saturday discussed with U.S Secretary of State John Kerry. According to Fana Broadcasting Corporate, the two parties discussed on
bilateral issues between Ethiopia and the U.S as well as regional
affairs.
Prime Minister Hailemariam on the occasion said that the relation between Ethiopia and the U.S is getting strengthened from time to time. The Premier said Ethiopia is keen to further enhance existing relation
with the U.S. Support of the U.S is significant in the efforts of
Ethiopia to reduce poverty and stressed the need for U.S investors to
strengthen participation in the investment, technology transfer and
trade sectors.
Secretary of State John Kerry on his part said that the U.S supports Ethiopia in its efforts to become member of the World Trade Organization. Kerry arrived here on Friday to attend celebrations of the 50th Golden Jubilee of the OAU/AU.
