Roads in Ethiopia less jarring than Edmonton potholes, taxi driver says

(Apr 22, 2013, (CBC))--Edmonton is having one of the worst seasons for potholes in years, and taxi drivers are feeling the effects. Mahbub Addus says his back hurts after a day on the road. “Each and every day when we go home, we need a massage,” he says. Addus is originally from Ethiopia. He’s never seen roads as bad as they are in Edmonton.

“Even if I drive on a gravel road, I don't feel the pain that I feel in Edmonton,” he said. Click on the image to see more in a story from the CBC’s Gareth Hampshire. Read more from CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) »
