(Friday, Oct 21, 2011, (TORONTO))--A Toronto church volunteer has been charged after a woman said she was sexually assaulted inside an east-end church.
Toronto Police alleged a churchgoer was assaulted by a suspect, who had been a volunteer for a year at Debre Selam St. Michael’s Church, on Broadview Ave., near Queen St. E.
Ashenafi Kahsay, 32, of Toronto, has been charged with one count of sexual assault. Kahsay appeard before a College Park court on Tuesday and was released on bail. Read more from Toronto Sun »
