Immigrant tries to set himself alight in Turin, Italy

(May 30, 2011, (AGI) Turin - An Ethiopian political refugee has tried to set himself alight in front of the Turin police headquarters.

The 28 year old man doused himself with petrol, but was prevented from further action by police personnel.

The attempt would appear to be connected with travel documents that he had requested in order to join his wife in Norway. . .
