Religious fathers urge followers to share Easter festivities with needy

Religious fathers called on the Christian faithful to provide for the needy while celebrating Easter.  The fathers made the call on Thursday inmessages they conveyed in connection with Easter, the day that marks the end of Lent, a forty-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance.



His Holiness Abune Paulos, Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church urged the laity to nurture those in need whilst celebrating Easter. 

Archbishop of the Ethiopian Catholic Church, His Holiness Abun Berhaneyesus summoned followers of the Church to share the festivities with the destitute.
