Along the Via Dolorosa, the Way of the Cross as it is known in English, 'the way of grief' in Latin, Christian pilgrims have been gathering in the Old City of Jerusalem for Good Friday. According to tradition, Jesus Christ their saviour was crucified on a Friday and rose from the dead the following Sunday. They will mark Easter this Sunday.
