Enterprise, employees contribute over 5 mln Birr for construction of Great Millennium Nile Dam

Addis Ababa, April 5, 2011 (Addis Ababa, ENA) - The Water Works Construction Enterprise and its employees contributed over five million Birr for construction of the Great Millennium Nile Dam Project. The employees also vowed to contribute professional support for the same purpose.  

Public Relations and Communication Affairs Head with the Enterprise, Kumlachew Abebe expressed readiness of the Enterprise, employees, and the association of employees to buy bonds.

Kumlachew also expressed commitment of the employees to contribute share towards completion of the project as the project is significant to eradicate poverty. Established 60 years before, the Enterprise has 1700 employees.
