Turkish State Minister for Foreign Trade Zafer Caglayan and Ethiopian Minister of State for Finance & Economic Development Ahmed Shide have signed an Eximbank loan agreement of $100 million.
Caglayan said at the signing ceremony that the loan would be given to Turkish businessmen to invest in Ethiopia.
"The agreement will mark a new beginning in our relations with Ethiopia. The loan will be used for exports and finance of investments in Ethiopia," he said.
Later, Caglayan attended opening of the Association of Turkish-Ethiopian Businessmen in Addis Ababa.
