(March 27, 2011, KUWAIT CITY)-- March 26: Police are looking for an Egyptian plumber who allegedly raped an Ethiopian housemaid while she was alone at her Kuwaiti sponsor’s house, reports Al-Anba daily.
A lawyer from the maid’s embassy filed a complaint at Umm Al-Haiman Police Station, saying the plumber was called to do some work but he, on sensing that the woman was alone, raped her and escaped.
The sponsor is said to have provided the telephone number of the plumber to police.
