Ethiopian businesses adopt Japanese kaizen philosophy

(Feb 20, 2015, (BBC))--For decades, Ethiopia's economy was controlled by the government but it is slowly opening up to a free market.

Many companies, however, still do things using old ways - creating problems such as how to manage staff and reduce costs.

In an effort to change these methods, Ethiopian businesses are being urged to embrace kaizen - a Japanese philosophy that companies around the world have used in order to work and run better. Read more from BBC »
