Migrant voices - Ethiopians in Yemen describe kidnapping and torture
(11 April 2013, (SANA’A), (IRIN))--Record numbers of migrants from the Horn
of Africa are crossing into Yemen, most of them on their way to find
better opportunities in Saudi Arabia and other rich Gulf countries. But
many do not make it any further. Seeking a new life, they end up
unwitting victims of a smuggling racket designed to exploit the migrants at each juncture of their journey.
Ethiopian man killed in N.West
(Apr 13, 2013, (Klipgat)--An Ethiopian was shot dead at a business premises in Klipgat on Saturday morning, North West police said. The man was found lying in a pool of blood near a pit toilet, said Captain Amanda Funani. He sustained a gunshot wound to the head.
Company's quest: Find oil in Ethiopia, get it to market

study commissioned by an Ethiopian company that hopes to be the first
to bring oil to market there suggests two basins hold more than 2
billion barrels of oil.
