(Aug 19, 2013,( Addis Ababa))--The popular Ethiopian singer Eyob Mekonnen passed away on Sunday. Due to health complications, which led to a stroke, Eyob had been in a coma for days.
According to his close friends, Eyob's illness was sudden, showing no signs of sickness for the past couple of years. The renowned musician was known for his reggae style; with his glamorous stage performances and lyrics he won the hearts of many.
