Tribal dancing to Ethiopian music coming to Folk Festival

(Mar 17, 2013, (BUTTE)--Tribal dancers and Ethiopian music from a Boston are just some of the newest groups to sign on with the Montana Folk Festival. 7 more groups have committed to performing at the festival that is scheduled for July 12th through the 14th.

The National Council for the Traditional Arts and Montana booking volunteers are helping festival organizers with the lineup of performers. The latest to sign on with the festival are Blues musician Bernard Allison from Chicago, a New Orleans Jazz Piano trio from New York City, and a Polka group from Michigan.

You'll also hear an A Capella Gospel group from Alabama, old time music from Virginia, an Ethiopian band from Boston and Tsimshian dancers from Seattle will be performing. Read more from kxlf »
