(ADDIS ABABA, Nov 16 (BERNAMA-NNN-ENA)--Ethiopian Prime Minister
Hailemariam Dessalegn has held talks here with the Special Adviser on
Africa to the United Nations Secretary-General, Maged Abdelaziz, on the
Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), the post-2015 agendas as well as
peace and security issues.
During Wednesday's meeting, Dessalegn said Ethiopia was working hard to boost its economy and was contributing to maintaining peace and stability in Africa.
After the discussion, the Special Adviser told journalists that the UN would continue to support Ethiopia and Africa particularly in the economic and political sectors.
He lauded Ethiopia's role in building peace in Africa and affirmed the UN's commitment to supporting peace-building efforts of the country.
