(Oct 10, 2012, Aviation Today)--Ethiopian Airlines has signed a spare parts agreement with Spirit AeroSystems in support of its fleet of Boeing aircraft. The multi-year agreement calls for Spirit Aftermarket Customer Support
to provide thrust reverser, fuselage and wing component spare parts for
Ethiopian’s fleet of Boeing passenger and cargo aircraft.
"We are proud that Ethiopian Airlines has decided to partner with Spirit AeroSystems on this important support agreement," said Mike Williams, vice president and general manager of Spirit Aftermarket Customer Support.
"As this is our first contract customer in Africa, this is a significant milestone for our company as we continue to expand our global support footprint."
