(June 19, 2012, Addis Ababa)--Prime Minister Meles left for Mexico on Sunday to attend the two day G20 summit which opens today in Los Cabos, Mexico. Ethiopia and a number of non-G20 members have been invited to attend the Los Cabos meeting.
The focus of G20 summit is expected to be on global growth and stability as the fragile world economic recovery is being threatened by the euro zone crisis and other problems.
It will also be considering some of the options for discussions which will be raised by this week’s UN Conference on Suastainable Development summit which starts in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday.
