(Mar 3, 2012, Public Radio of Armenia)--Noting that Ethiopia is one of the countries on the African continent, which Armenia has centuries-old relations with, President Sargsyan said good grounds exist for deepening and reinforcing the relations between the two peoples based on historic memory.
Serzh Sargsyan attached importance to the establishment of the necessary legal framework with an aim of intensifying the Armenian-Ethiopian political dialogue. The parties praised the cooperation within international organizations.
According to Ambassador Kasahun Dender Melese, for centuries Armenians have been contributing to the development of science and technologies in Ethiopia and they have warm feelings for Armenians. The Ambassador assured that the government of Ethiopia is interested in developing relations with Armenia.
