(January 13, 2012, BEIRUT)--An Ethiopian woman was killed in a Wednesday night hit-and-run car accident in the town of Baabda, the National News Agency said Thursday.
According to the NNA, Mini Chanich Fakrami, an Ethiopian woman who was employed as a domestic worker, died in hospital Thursday from injuries suffered the night before when a speeding car hit her as she tried to cross a road in Baabda, north of Beirut, to get to a pharmacy. The driver of the car fled the scene.
