Angelina Jolie, Pitt build Ethiopian AIDS clinic

(Dec 16, 2011, AU News)--Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are building an AIDS clinic in their adopted daughter Zahara's native Ethiopia to ensure she will always stay in touch with her African roots.

The actress became mum to Zahara Marley in 2005 and Jolie reveals she and Pitt are in the process of establishing a medical centre to treat AIDS and tuberculosis in the six-year-old's name, similar to the Maddox Chivan Children's Centre they founded in Cambodia, where their eldest son Maddox was born.

And the Hollywood couple plan to do the same for their other adopted son, Pax, in Vietnam. "They have programs in their countries (for) each of them we're starting.

There's a TB/AIDS clinic being built for Zahara; there's a clinic already for Mad. So each of them will take that responsibility," Jolie said in an upcoming interview with US newsman Anderson Cooper.

"They are from their country and they are of their country and they should know that, it's part of their family, we are their family but so is their country."

Jolie and Pitt are also parents to three biological kids - five-year-old daughter Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne, three.
