(KUWAIT CITY, July 3)- An Ethiopian housemaid, whose identity has not been disclosed, met her watery grave on a beach off the Police Officers’ Club, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the mishap happened when she and a Bangladeshi housemaid went swimming. Both were pulled into the sea by an under current and the Bangladeshi housemaid swam to the shore.
The Ethiopian did not know swimming and drowned. Her sponsor is believed to be a lieutenant colonel and she was with the sponsor’s family when the incident took place. The daily did not give more details.
