Addis Ababa, April 19, 2011 (Addis Ababa, ENA) - Women, Children and Youth Affairs Minister Zenebu Tadesse said the Ministry has undertaken activities enabling it to lay foundation to achieve the five-year Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP).
The Minister here on Tuesday presented to the House of Peoples' Representatives performance report of the Ministry for the past nine months.
Zenebu on the occasion said attention was given to reorganizing the Ministry during the reported period.
She said the Ministry has also undertaken different activities to issues related to gender and also enabling women and youth participate in the ongoing activities in the political, economic and social sectors in the country.
The House on its part stressed the need for the Ministry to identify its weak sides and discharge its responsibilities.
