(Jun 23, (CGTN Africa))--To our top story now ... And there are signs of a breakthrough between long-time rivals Eritrea and Ethiopia. Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki says he's sending a delegation to Addis Ababa to, quote, chart out a plan for peace. The move comes after Ethiopia's Prime Minsiter Abiy Ahmed Ali pledged this month to honour all the terms of the peace deal that ended the war between the two countries 16 years ago.
