(Feb 17, (CGTN Africa))--Ethiopia's defense minister, Siraj Fegessa, has ruled out a military takeover a day after the government declared a new state of emergency.
He has also ruled out a transitional government, following Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn's surprise resignation. The government insists that the state of emergency is a measure to safeguard the constitutional order in the country.
