(June 22, 2011 (Addis Ababa) -Ethiopia and Spain have signed here Wednesday an air transport agreement, the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority said.
Authority Director-General Col. Wesenyeleh Hunegnaw and Spanish Air Transport Deputy Director-General, Raul Medina Caballero signed the agreement.

Caballero on his part said the agreement would benefit both countries as the two nations are developing ones.
He said agreement would enhance the trade volume between the two countries and help Ethiopian to expand its destinations in Europe and America.
The agreement would enable Ethiopian to directly fly to Spain. Ethiopian was earlier flying to Spain via Bussels/Rome.
