(5 June 2011, Netherland)- Deputy Foreign Minister Ben Knapen is visiting Ethiopia this week for talks with President Meles Zenawi as well as non-governmental organizations involved in human rights, humanitarian aid and reproductive health.
Mr Knapen will also meet with African Union chair Jean Ping during his visit, which will take place between Monday and Wednesday.
High on the agenda are the fight against poverty, progress towards the millennium goals, human rights, Ethiopia’s human rights situation, bilateral and economic ties with the Netherlands and regional and international political developments.
