Prime Minister Meles Zenawi on Friday received and held talks with an Indian special envoy delegation sent by the countries Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The two sides discussed the upcoming India-Africa summit and Ethio-India bilateral relations.
Meles noted the hosting of the India-Africa summit in Addis Ababa is indicative of the due attention that the Indian government has attached to Africa as a whole and to Ethiopian in particular.
Members of the visiting delegation also said Ethio-Indian relations have been gaining momentum over time.
