The Knesset Committee on Immigration, Absorption & Diaspora Affairs will salute Ethiopian immigration to Israel on Monday, the 20th anniversary of Operation Solomon, a covert operation that brought more than 14,000 members of the Beta Israel community from Ethiopia to Israel in the span of 36 hours.
Immigrant Absorption Minister Sofa Landver, former Mossad Director Shabtai Shavit, and Ethiopian community activists, organizations representatives and leaders will attend the meeting, which will take place at 10:30 am, in the Knesset's "Jerusalem" hall.
