Addis Ababa, March 25, 2011 (Addis Ababa) - The government of Ethiopia has taken out 93 Ethiopians from Libya to Tunisia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday.
According to the Spokesperson of the Ministry, the Ethiopians were transported from Libya with car in two rounds and reached at the outskirts of a Tunisian boarder town.
The government along with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) will help return the Ethiopians to their homeland, the Spokesperson said.
Similarly, four Ethiopians returned home from Libya via Cairo on Friday..
The number of Ethiopians who returned home from Libya has now reached 29.
The government is doing its level best for the safe return of Ethiopians living in Libya, inspite of the difficult circumstances due to crisis in that country, according to the Spokesperson.
