British Council trains 18 Ethiopian journalists

Addis Ababa, March 5, 2011 (Addis Ababa) - Some 18 journalists drawn from government and private media have received a five-day intensive training on ‘Advanced Journalism’ in Addis Ababa. The training was given by Mary Price, an Irish journalist, who has worked for BBC for 41 years.


The British Council organized the training in collaboration with the Thomson Foundation.

British Council Director, Barbara Wickham said the training includes basic and advanced technics of writing. She said there will be three media training sessions this year.
